Sony Ericsson Xperia mini x10 not sending sms :(

Hello everyone, I hope you can help me. My brother gave me his old xperia mini x10, everything works except for sending out sms (texts). It recieves sms messages and sends and recieves picture messages? It calls out and I can recieve calls? I dont get it??? From reading online I see that you need the correct service centre number? Has anyone had a similar problem or know how to resolve this? Or does anyone have the same phone and can tell me there settings? Please Please help me, it's driving me mad

              I'm not very knowledgeable on the Sony Ericsson Xperia, so I'm unsure about how to enter the appropriate settings, though you may be able to do so, through reading a online manual for the mobile via Sony Ericsson's site.   However the correct Virgin sms service centre number is:  +447958879890.

              I wouldn't worry to much though if the settings don't work, there is some pretty knowledgeable users within the forum that I'm sure will know the correct way of resolving your issue, and will rally to help, once they notice your post.
