Sim not allowed?????

Anybody got any ideas why my Blackberry is saying "sim not allowed" all of a sudden?  i haven't touched the sim card since it was put in in Feb. It's picking up the O2 network and won't let me scan for any others to change it.

Thanks.

Re: Sim not allowed?????

I would turn it off, remove the battery, wait a minute, put it back in and restart your phone.

Hope that helps.

it sounds like a network issue, try moving a few miles and trying DG's option then

Re: Sim not allowed?????

Sounds like some 02 cache is somehow on the SIM, further to the above good advice, as well as taking the battery out of the device, I'd take the SIM out as well for 30 minutes; perhaps an o2 BB connection via wi fi or an associated 02 wi fi network, a trace from an o2 generated e-mail or website visit. Is the device new to you on Virgin, whatever, the fix should sort it.
