SGS2 Battery indicator issues.

Having some issues with my handset at the moment and wondering if this is something common or not.

When i charge my phone to fully charged, my full battery indicator will not go from the screen when i disconnect the charger. If i turn the handset off and then back on the phone will flash with a battery error. and will not start. If i remove the battery then all will start ok.

However my issue is that i dont want to take my battery out of my phone every morning. not only this but i listen to the radio on my phone and it wont play as it thinks my phone has no power to play the radio but yet on my screen it says 100% fully charged. Its starting to tick me off now. another thing is sometimes it flashes to tell me usb connected when its not. This has happend a few times and not everyday like the battery issue. I have cleaned all terminals for both phone and battery. I have cleaned the micro usb connector with a fine brush and this still hasnt sorted my issue.

Any ideas? I know we aint getting 2.4.5 and 2.4.6 any time soon and 2.4.4 seemed to have helped with a few other issues i was having and i was hoping it would fix this but it hasnt. Other than this the service is great but i haven't rung customer service yet!

Re: SGS2 Battery indicator issues.

Sounds like you'll have to ring 789.

My only other suggestions are factory reset and trying a different battery.

Maybe ringing Samsung directly might get you a new battery sent out?

Re: SGS2 Battery indicator issues.

Your post also give the idea that you charge overnight every night

Thats not a recommended practice for these modern batteries - so it might just be as Lisap says and the battery is on its last legs

789 seems the way to go
