Repairing a cracked phone screen

Hi there- I was wondering how much it would cost to replace a cracked phone screen? My brother got a new HTC Wildfire on contract a week ago, but managed to drop it and shatter the screen. It's still completely functional otherwise so it just seems to be the glass that needs replacing. He didn't get insurance unfortunately so just wondering whether it's worth paying to send it in for repair?

Well looking on ebay the cheapest screen I found was £33.49 so if you was to send it away for repair I would probably triple that price.

 

I would recommend doing it yourself if you are ok at some simple diy. Screen can be found here

and then have a search on somewhere like youtube for a video explaining how to dismantle.
