Hi kenny

I had the same problem, i emailed VM and got the following reply:

To start receiving picture messages direct to your phone, you'll first need to send a message to another phone or email address – so get clicking!

Once you've done this, you'll get a message welcoming you to the world of Mobile picture messaging with Virgin Media and, once you've received this, any future picture messages you get will be displayed right there on your phone.

If you're finding it a bit tricky or need some help, give our team a call on one of the numbers below. Or, you can pop in to one of our stores and we'll sort it for you – just click here to find your nearest store.

We'd also suggest you try what we call a hard reboot. To do this, just remove the battery from your phone while the phone's switched on. This effectively removes your connection to the network immediately, instead of the slow disconnection when you normally switch off your phone.

If after doing this your still having problems we’d appreciate it if you could give us a call, letting us know the following:

  • Your full address.
  • Any error messages you receive.
  • If your able to access the internet.
  • What's shown the the top right hand corner of your BlackBerry, GPRS, 3G, GSM, SOS, gprs, and 3g.
  • The IMEI number, this is your phone's serial number. It's the 15-digit number that will automatically appear when you tap *#06# into your phone. If only 14 digits appear, you'll need to scroll down one line to find the last one. It's also worth checking if the IMEI on the big white label on the box your phone came in. Or under the battery on the back of your phone.
  • And finally, another number we can reach you on

Once we have this information, we'll get things resolved as quickly as possible.

If there's anything else we can help with, just visit Your Account. We’re sure you'll find everything here and if you ever want to get in touch, you can log in and send us an email.

You can also give us a call on 789 from any Virgin mobile phone – it's just 10p, no matter how long you talk for. Or, you can call us on 0845 6000 789 from a fixed line phone. These calls are charged at local rate.

You stated you could not send mms? is the recipient able to receive? Just a thought.

Anyway hope this helps :smileyvery-happy:

I thought 0845 was a premium rate number for Virgin customers. :smileywink:

I don't work for VirginMedia so I understand the concept of - The customer is always right.
