HTC One (M8)

Just announced today, it appears this handset uses a nano SIM.

Will VM be supplying these to users currently using micro SIM, as a free "update"?

If / when Virgin Media do the phone and you order it from Virgin Media, then you'll get the SIM size you need as part of the phone order. For instance when I went from the Galaxy S2 to the S4, I got a micro SIM as part of the delivery which my mobile number transferred onto.

If you get buy the phone yourself i.e. not from Virgin Media, then I believe there is a charge to swap SIM sizes.

Re: HTC One (M8)

Do we know if Virgin will be carrying the phone? I'm due an upgrade soon. Could be good timing if they are.

That's the bit I needed, tnx.

Now, anyone from VM can advise a cost?

Hi TC-25,

Thanks for your query :smileyhappy:

There would be a £5 charge for a different size sim if the phone is not from us.

Thanks
