Hello,
Please see below
Never miss your favourite programmes again
Whatever you like watching on TV, you can see it on your Samsung GALAXY Ace when you're out and about. It's compatible with BBC iplayer, YouTube, BBC News and Sky News, so you can always stay up to date. There's also a video player that supports a wide variety of formats including DivX and XviDse see attached..
The Galaxcy Ace is adevertised, as above, as being compatable with BBC i-player. I cannot access BBC i-player, BBC News or Sky News, but can access Youtube. It says the Ace has to have Flashplayer 10.2, but the Ace will not download it and there is no BBC I-player etc app available in Android Marketplace.
I have looked on samsung website also - they just promise it - but no date given.
Anyone have any suggestions ???
Thanks,
Dave

Flash 10.2 is available in the market, you need to check it out with the BBC iirc thay have stopped it ![]()

The bbc iplayer app that is available for the Galaxy S is badly in need of an update.
You can only access iPlayer over a Wi-Fi connection and not 3G. Plus, you will be lucky
to have sound playing while trying to watch anything.
I would suggest waiting for a while, until the BBC have updated the app and provided support for
more devices.
Out of interest davcru, what version of Flash do you have on your phone? I know for a fact, that
iPlayer can work on Flash Lite 4, so full Flash 10.2 isn't absolutely necessary.
All the best.

Hi Ray,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you - and thanks for responding/assisting on this.
I do not have any version of Flash on my phone, as I am not able to download any !
Thanks,

I've done a quick search regarding flash support for the Galaxy Ace and it would seem that the Galaxy Ace
does not support Flash due to hardware limitations in the processor.
