Contacts

Hi.   Can I use my Memory Card to store my contacts in stead of my Sim Card?

Re: Contacts

jeray,

To store a copy of "Contacts" to Memory card to use instead of contacts stored on the sim card, it would all depend upon the mobile phone that you are using, and whether the option to transfer contacts to memory card is available.

But in general, it usually done on a similar line to this:

1. Go into your cell phone's "Main Menu" and navigate to "Phone Book" or "Contacts," depending on what it is called on your phone. Open it to display the names and phone numbers.

2. Select the first number that you want to save to the SD card. Go to "Options" and select "Send To" or "Export to SD Card." Repeat this action for all of your contacts.

3. Go to your messages "Inbox" from your "Main Menu." Select the first text message and click "Options." Select "Send To" or "Move To Folder." Select the folder to which you want to send the message. Then, go to the folder to which you've saved your text messages and click "Options," then "Move To Memory Card."

Its always advisable to fully read your mobile phone user manual, to double check whether its first possible to transfer contact details to memory card.
