Hi, I was wondering if I brought the new iPhone 4 from Apple unlocked, would Virgin give me a micro sim? Any answers would be helpful.
Thank you.

Thank you for the quick reply, I found a device called the cutmysim, but they are not making them now, could you direct me to another device? If not, could you cut using scissors?

They are making them - they've just run out.
Most places advertising the cutters seem to be aiming for July - which as the iPhone isn't released till end of the month makes sense
I wouldn't suggest you try and do it yourself as it will be probably be very easy to get it wrong

That makes sence, so if I got the new iPhone and brought this cutter, I will be able to continue my contract with Virgin with no problems?

Yes I got an unlimited plan on the iphone 3G at the moment (oviously the phone being unlocked) and it works fine, sounds all good. Still don't understamd the move to micro sim, it dosn't save much

Well it does limit where you can go for connection though

Yes it does limit, however with the introduction of these sim cutters it dosn't limit it too much now

I have a virginmobile UK sim and the contact point looks a lot bigger than an O2 microsim contact point, if I cut this I would cut away some of the gold. Do virgin do another SIM?
