I'm was concerned about my online account security so I changed my my password to a stronger one.
Virgin reply by email to confirm password changed and stated "You can change your password to something more memorable at any time"
Hardly encouraging security...
I don't see your problem here.
Virgin emailing you to confirm a change of password on your account is a security feature in itself.
Informing you that you can change it again at any time is also a good feature.
As for "memorable" well it does need to be memorable for you as writing it down is not advisable.
