because it is good business practice

so say there was at least 1000 customers per day that accidentally make calls when their phone is in their pocket

and the avg call cost when not on a call package (contract) or out of a bundle is 35p per minute to a uk landline

so thats 1000x35 so they would loose out on at least £350 over those 1000 customers for the first minute and if it goes on to at least 5 minutes in the pocket then that is £1750

and you want vm to fork that back out of their pocket for a customers mistake? I dont see that is good for business

Re: Why will virgin mobile not give credit for a pocket call?

I fully understand your response...but believe me whatever it is, is pocket change for the operator...but in relation to my normal...if erratic, because I live abroad, mobile use...GBP3.50 is a lot of money for one call I never knowingly made, or derived any benefit from.

This is the first time I have ever had reason (in my opinion) to request a credit
