Despite the invalid tracking numbers, there appear to be a number things could go wrong. Hopefully it being delivered to the wrong nearby address is not one of those things (as someone in that topic reported happening to them.) It could just end up being delivered later than planned.
As the staff member advised in that topic, you'd need to contact VM - you can reach them from all other lines / mobiles (non-VM ones) by calling 0345 600 0789 during the day.
