Why did I not get a new sim with my new iPhone?

I received the iPhone and iPad mini2 bundle but I didn't get a new SIM card for my iPhone do I use my existing virgin sim or should I have got a new one?

Hi Vicyt90,

 

does your existing SIM fit?

If it does and you’ve chosen a different airtime tariff to your current one. You’ll get your new amounts of minutes, texts and data the next time your allowances are refreshed.

Hi no it dosent fit I have went from a Samsung to an iPhone should I have got a new one?

Hi Vickyt90,

 

I'm assuming that this purchase is an "upgrade" phone?

Are you sure that your present SIM isn't one of the 3 in 1 "push out to size” multi type that you can make to the size you want?

If not and you can't make it fit then you'll need to give the Virgin Mobile team a call (free) on 789 from your mobile (0345 6000 789 from any other phone) tell them that you've upgraded and you need a different size SIM.

The salespeople don't know your sim does not fit, so if you did not mention it I expect they never asked, so no you need to call in and ask for one, the new ones are triple size, you need to push out the correct size for your new phone when the sim arrives.
