Virgin switched my tariff, but to what?!

Hi all,

I got a text from Virgin earlier in the month to tell me that my PAYG tariff was ending, and I was being switched to another 'better value' one instead, and that would be confirmed later in the month. That confirmation never arrived, and I now have no idea what tariff I am on, or what its costing me! I cant get any response from the 'contact us' options to ask.

Hi FitMan,

 

what Pay As You Go tariff were you on?

Dial 789 option 3 then option 1 and listen for "the lowdown" on your current tariff (what you're on and call charges Smiley Wink).

what Pay As You Go tariff were you on?

Dial 789 option 3 then option 1 and listen for "the lowdown" on your current tariff (what you're on and call charges Smiley Wink).

Thanks very much for that reply. To be honest, I didnt know there were different PAYG tariffs, I have been on the same one for many years, as long as I have had the phone, I use it so little, there was never any need to change it.

so what tariff were / are you on?

I've been a mobile customer for years and got PAYG SIM's on Original, Daily Bonus, Simply 8p and Addict but not received any notification from Virgin about any of these changing or coming to an end.

I can only repeat what I said before, they sent me a text and said its changing, or, in fact, its ending.

Yes I did that, there was not a recorded message on option 1, I was connected to an actual person!
