I have a mobile contract in my name which I have had for over 2 years now and just recently upgraded (3 weeks ago). The phone is for my brother which I set up originally for him as he did not have a bank account etc at the time and I was trying to help him out. We have gone through some family problems and we are not currently on speaking terms but he has asked that the contract be signed over to him for him to now deal with it himself. I have already called and been told that this can only be done within 14 days of the contract being set up or else I need to pay off the entire contract which is money I don't just have lying around. Is there anything that can be done at all about this, even paying a small fee?
