Roaming charges

Was in New York for 5 days. Only used my Kindle in the hotel. Thought I was connected to their free WiFi. Got home to a bill of £36? Never used phone. Don't understand, can't email Virgin, tried a Web chat, but was told it wasn't their department?

Re: Roaming charges

Didn't know I had roaming, or could switch it on or off. Virgin never seem to be available when you have a complaint. No email address????

Re: Roaming charges

Data roaming is built into all modern mobiles, it's really up to you to understand how your phone works
