Payment

Hi all. I've made a one off payment via debit card but also have a direct debit set up. I've done this I've borrowed the money from someone as I won't have funds to clear the direct debit. Do I need you cancel my direct debit for this month. Can't find info on site. Thank you

Re: Payment

Yes or it will be requested, Virgin request the money about 4 working days before it's due to be paid ( the banks need time to set it up) cancel about 6 days before payment is due, then reset it on the day it's due to be paid. If your two late the payment will be requested, if it fails Virgin will suspend your account, just call in and reset the DD as the bill was paid should not be an issue, it will however be logged as a failed payment, it could reflect on the credit score

Re: Payment

Thank you. I just saw the pay now button and paid it. It didn't give any warning that my dd would still be taken. Never mind. Bit cheesed off about my credit rating. Thank you so much for the reply though
