Pac Code help?!

Hi,

I am looking to change to virgin for my mobile. I am currently with EE PAYG but want to change to contract with Virgin. Am I able to get a PAC code and keep my number or can you not do it when changing between PAYG and contract?

I understand how to get it and what to do just doesn't say anywhere about if I can with what I want to do

Thankyou

Re: Pac Code help?!

Hi papworc,

you just need to contact EE customer services and request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code).

The code remains valid for 30 days but once used the EE SIM will deactivate and any remaining EE credit will be lost.

When you are ready and you have your new Virgin Mobile contract SIM you can contact Virgin Mobile customer services on it (free call 789), give them the PAC you obtained from EE and they'll transfer your old EE PAYG number to your new Virgin contract SIM  Smiley Happy

Here is a Virgin guide on the subject: Keeping your number
