Number Porting Problem

I was told my "EE" number would be ported today. This morning my EE service has stopped (No Service) and I got an SMS to my new Virgin SIM stating number transfer complete. However the Virgin SIM still has the "temp" number not my ported number. When I call my ported EE number it rings out but nothing on my Virgin phone. I currently have lost my phone number .........

Help.

Lots of posts on the time it seems to be taking to port numbers correctly.

Usually it works out in time, but it can be a massive inconvenience.

This seems to have resolved itself now - be handy if they didn't send an SMS stating all done 7 hrs before it happens !
