Non existent mobile reception and awful customer service
Just been on to support as the reception in my area is awful, I want to cancel my contract and find another provider. Told I am on the lowest contract but then go online and find I'm not. Went on to the virgin site and tried to change my tariff and that is failing. The combination of customer service and website is awful for such a huge company.

Sorry to hear you've got bad mobile reception and your unable to change your tariff.
I'd like to help you out with this.
I will send you a private message shortly (red envelope, top left hand side) to gather some details from you to take a look at the reception issue.
To change your tariff you would need to call our mobile team on 789 or 0345 6000 789. The tariff change option is not always accurate and may show you a tariff that is not actually available. This is something we aware of and in the process of investigating.
