Made a payment online

Ive recently joined virgin media and they have put december and january bills together so i have paid lump.some off of the.bill using online service but theres a direct debit due tomorrow so will they only take whats left on the bill or we they take the whole payment (which means i would have overpaid them)

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

Making a payment so close to the direct debit date may not allow enough time for the balance to update before the direct debit is taken.

This may lead to the whole payment being taken again which would leave your account in credit and this would come off your next bill.
