Logging In

Wondering if anyone can help.  I signed up to take out a new mobile phone contract with virgin last night as my O2 contract is coming to an end, I filled in all of me details and got emails with order details, welcoming me to virgin and then one asking me to verify my email address.  Whenever I try to log in to my account with the password I had put in during registration it says it is not recognised, if I try and reset my password it asks for an account number or virgin mobile phone number, neither of which I have.  

Can someone please tell me how to get round this, I have tried to log on to the live chat but it says there is nobody available and I am unable to call right now as at work.
