without a little more information it's hard to give an answer but I would assume that you are referring out of tariff data usage (£2 per day for unlimited use) as a Pay Monthly customer.
Or possibly Pay As You Go data use (£1 per day for up to 100MB).
Either scenario would result in the daily charge (regardless of how little might have been used) being applied each time you enter a new 24 hour (from midnight) period.
To avoid this, turn off mobile data on your device.
