After talking to customer services several times and getting no where I have worded an email which I would like to send but lo and behold like everything else vm do its hard work trying to do this anyone got any ideas on where to send this delight of an email too before I go straight to the ombudsmen!
Virgin as with quite a few other big companies do not have an email address. Currently it is not a legal requirement to have one.
As for going straight to the ombudsman, that isn't the way it works. You have to follow the companies complaints procedure, then if no joy there, you go to the ombudsman. Having worked with both financial and telecommunications ombudsman, my tips are send things recorded, bullet point things in a letter and keep all correspondence/dated and times of calls. An ombudsman will make a determination on probabilities and fact from both sides..
