Got a new sim because I upgraded my data , took old one out put new one in. Entered 4 digit no with card to unlock, leaflet states to send READY msg to 789678 tried this, get msg back No Network same when I powered phone down and restarted, once I had put in 4 digit No and auto msg came up asking if I wanted to send a Service msg to 789678 i did, moments later ... could not send msg
If the SIM isn't activated it wouldn't be able to text, with that in mind the normal SIM switch setup companies do is: Send you a new SIM, once received you text/call a number from the current SIM. When the existing SIM goes dead, you pop in the new SIM. Done.
