Cancelling contract

I have tried to call to cancel as per contact us which states " Call us, Lines are open 8am - midnight, 7 days a week"

 

However after going through the options it states we are open until 8pm and ends the call.

 

Why put lines are open 8am - midnight if they aren't.  Isn't this a little misleading!

 

Is there any way to cancel online as customer services side always seems a bit shoddy?

Customer services are the first times you quoted. Retentions are until 8pm.

It would be nice if the contact us section actually made that clear though.
