Cancelled account but it is still active and being charged for it.

I cancelled my mobile phone account with Virgin, but kept my husbands account still running. This was done at the end of April/beginning of May over the phone. I realised I would have to pay for the 30 days notice which was at the beginning of this when I cancelled.


Now I was charged last month (June) the full amount which I didn't dispute as we assumed that was for the cancellation. But today I have noticed that I am being charged the same this month, and on checking my account online I have noticed that my account is still active and they have even refreshed my allowances.


Obviously we do not want to pay for another month where we don't have to and we only have until the end of July to get this sorted.


Does anyone have any idea what the heck is happening...? Any help would be appreciated..
