CaN anyone who cares help?

 

Don't even listen to a word they say on the help desk. It's all lies.....
VERY VERY Annoyed with virgin mobile. I've been a customer for 15 years and this is how you treat me.. For over 40 days now i have been trying to get proof that my mobile phone has been blocked after loosing it. I have spoken to the helpline over 9 times over the last 40 days and have been promised that a letter would be sent out to say that the phone has been blocked vie the IEMI. 30 days later no letter! I called the help line a further 3 times to be informed that the letter is on it's way. I then wait 10 more days and call back to be told that an email would be sent to me by the (Back office) and i should get it Monday morning. Still no email! tonight i call up and was informed that everything I've been told was wrong and virgin done send emails or letters out. I immediately exploded with the guy on the other end of the phone who said whoever said that i would be getting a letter and email was wrong. I said so you are telling me four different people have got it wrong then, and he said yes. I have now requested the call recordings from virgin mobile and will be publishing them on YouTube and linking it to Facebook and Twitter for everyone to listen to. I am now unable to prove to my insurance company that my phone has been blocked simply because i didn't purchase my £700 phone from virgin. Even though they have openly said in a recorded conversation that the phone has been blocked over the phone but say they wont send me an email or letter. Even though i have several recordings to say they are sending me an email and letter out. I promises you now virgin Media i wont be letting this go. hiya @AmandaBarnby I would strongly advise not putting calls on youtube unless you have all the agents permission since I believe that's against the telecommunications act.. and could lead to serious legal action, I would see where the complaint takes you or possible taking it to the next level you can view the process via -> http://store.virginmedia.com/content/dam/eSales/Downloads/Consumer%20Complaint%20Code%20of%20Practic...

Tuff.. basically. If the recordings end up on the net then I'm afraid that's life. I need justice and if that's what it take then so be it. Exteamly desprate at this point. They promised to send me something and have not delivererd. No names will be mentioned in the recordings or uploads so my liability will be 0 But thanks for your advice. You don't think for one minute I'm going to spend the next 60days going through a pointless complaints procedure.! Not a chance. I exhausted with the runaround from overseas helples desks.

yeah I do believe you deserve justice (not sure if they need to send you a letter saying its been locked etc), just it might come back and bite you hard if the justice is served against you, with a possible criminal record/fines etc.. even if no names are mentioned its more the fact you put a recording of call without permission. you could possible look at sending virginmedia a deadlock letter..
