I'm abroad and have no service, and the live chat support hasn't connected (I've been trying for more than two days).
before you left the UK did you check that roaming was active on your account?
Log into your Virgin Mobile account then click on the "Plan and device" tab.
Go to "Manage my services". Check that "Roaming" is ON & "International call barring" is OFF.
If they are not, make the change by moving the "switch" in your account.(Click the other side of the rectangle box).
If making a change,allow time for your account to update then reboot your phone.
You may have to go into the phone's settings and do a manual search for network.
Also check that roaming is enabled on your handset itself.

The problem is that I don't know my account password and can't receive the message to reset it. In fact I don't recall ever registering an account, though there seems to be one linked to my phone number (I only received it recently).
I have replied to you on another thread, I will no shortly send you a private message to get some more information about your account and we can get this resolved.
