set up direct debit

i want to set up direct debit but it says i have outstanding bill and i havent its paid up to date i was going to leave virgin but they were helpfull hope this issue can be resolved

hiya @maggyann1 to setup a direct debt needs to show a £0.00 balance, only other option would be to call into customer services via 150 / 0345 454 1111 and they'll be able to setup this up for you.

Hello Maggyann1,

sorry about the delay in responding, apologies also for the confusion when trying to set up a direct debit.

In order to activate a direct debit you need to ensure that any existing balance has been paid and the balance is £0.00.

You can check your bill/balance and make payments on My Virgin Media here: http://virg.in/myVM. You can also set the direct debit up there too.
