Have you called retentions 150 the option 4 then option 5? They're the best choice for existing customers - or have you already called & didn't get a good deal.

Re: saying goodbye to virgin after 20 + yrs

hi   I called retentions but they claimed that no deals were available !

I'm more annoyed that virgin did not advise me of the increase even though they promised to contact me when my 12 months deal had come to an end

Usually they offer price reductions/discounts for signing up to a new contract. Perhaps you got an unhelpful person.

Good for you. I have been with Virgin since they were NTL and I am seriously considering leaving too!

Re: saying goodbye to virgin after 20 + yrs

I have been with them 6 years and am paying about £87 a month for TV, Broadband & phone.

They just offered me a package for £98 per month when a new customer would pay £55 for 12 months, then £81.

The guy told me that my account wasn't eligible for any discounts.... never missed a payment in 6 years.

SkyQ here I come, Virginmedia won't be getting anything else from me Smiley Sad
