renew contract

i have just renewed my contact and got told in store that the price increase would not be added as I am taking out a new contact but when I got my bill it has been added to the line rental so I have been miss sold a contact that I am now stuck with for 1 year and they have even told me that in store

I'm not sure why they told you that a new contract wouldn't factor in the price increase. All customers, new and existing. Whether they are re-contracting or not - all get the price increase factored in to their deal.
