refer a friend to virgin.. well i am so embrassed with the company

refered my friend to virgin as its a great service 

sent the email friend come round to sign up choose her boardband clicked the colect from shop 

she waited till 6pm no text or phone call nothing 

so i had a chat online the man i wont give the name  asking silly questions 

like when was your last bill .duh she not recvied nothing i am new 

ok you have to phone the 0800 number 

she phoned up give all details  ohh very sorry we dont know where it is its somewhere in selby depo wth 

we phone you in 24hrs 

just got a text from her well not happy at all

nothing

how can you lose a self install router and still not promise the phone call 

then if she does get it i have to chase the credit to our accounts

i should be having badge saying team member 

not happy you really embrass me virgin

 i have her account number and area code to hand

Hi. I agree Virgin have great products like the Internet and TV box but it's always the 'contact' stuff that lets them down on an epic scale. If only they would put some more money into this it would be excellent. For this reason I would never recommend to a friend and feel really sorry this happened to you.

thank you for the comment 

yer its gone downhill 

only thing there manage was the direct debit which was the fastest setup which is def getting cancel she said

as she got no internet i having to look around for other providers but cant get fibre in her area apart from virgin 

only option i give is sky 4 meg to 10meg which can get her installed tomorrow thanks to the nice bloke on sky,com

hi can a virgin team tell me how to delete a myvirginmedia account for a waste of time sign up 

and can the new direct debit be cancel from the bank  for services that virgin cant be brotherd to sort 

as nothing as been signed or installed and prob never will be now

or has this got to be done over the phone to delete it all
