charges for changing bundle

Hi,

I've changed a flat recently and I transfer my Virgin broadband to the new flat,
the virgin guy from phone told me that I only have to pay £20 transfer charges and that he will upgrade my bundle for free.

I don't care if I have 100 optical fibre, I didn't want to upgrade my speed.

Now I got a bill with £44.80 charges for upgrading my bundle plus £20 transfer charges.
I can accept the £20 transfer charges but cannot accept the £44.80 charges for upgrading my service, I have never requested a thing like that.

Any advice on that?

I would be having a chat with customer services via 150 / 0345 454 1111 online chat http://contact.virignmedia.com (using PC/laptop), and possible have the call pull and listening to, and notes checked to see what was said, since the forum team here deal mainly with technical related issues.
