What is the correct price for a phone broadband 50mb bundle?

is the correct price for the above £40 per month or £42.25 per month?

For new customers it works out at: £32.00 a month for 12 months then £40.00 a month for Super Fibre 50 Talk Weekends

New customer's will always have an introductory offer, just like you would have had when you first joined

There may be a package that suits you better and helps keep your costs down. To take a look at this it would be great if you could give virgin a call on 150 or 0345 454 1111 on option 4 -> option 5. Weekday between 8AM to 8PM. or a Saturday, between 8AM to 6PM (closed Sunday.) They would be happy to help you get the best out of your services

Thankyou,

we were on an old package and therefore paying more for a lesser service. I called this morning and was given what you say here. However when I got the confirmation email it stated the price was £42.25. I wondered if the website prices hadn't been updated and this was the new price. I called again and the person was very unhelpful. They just kept saying it's coming up as £42.25 and there's nothing they could do. Was the second person just incompetent? I notice we get an extra called call barring, could we be getting charged extra for this? How much is it costing me to call this number? Is that option 4 then 5? What are the options called just so I know for sure I am choosing the correct options.

Yes we are paperless and have a Direct debit. We were getting charged a fortune doing the alternative so switched to them years ago.

Looks like it may be a home phone add-on just phone in and speak to customer relations. Call on 150 or 0345 454 1111 on option 4 -> option 5. Weekday between 8AM to 8PM. or a Saturday, between 8AM to 6PM (closed Sunday.) They would be happy to help you. It will say thinking of leaving us don't worry about that

Just had a look and if you have Premium Number Barring you will pay extra but phone in and they can confirm.

It just says call barring not premium number barring. I guess I will call again. What should I do if i get someone playing dumb again who insists it's the correct price and that they can't do anything?

i believe it is now sorted. had to get a  12 month contract but as a result it is down to £32 per month. well assuming they have done it right this time unlike the other day. i am sure they will have.
