Want to "keep up" ? Want a new hub? Shame you cant.

So I wanted to change my SH2 to a SH3 so followed the link:
https://keepup.virginmedia.com/hubupgrade

I fill my details and get told I'm not a customer. Shame I have to keep paying!

I try the next day, same result. Contact support via chat and get told to try tomorrow. I tried "tomorrow" yesterday and got nothing. Try again today and same again.

Thanks VM. You're so helpful. I phone up and get told I can't have a SH3. I tell them about the website and they say I need to fill the form in.

Round and round. What fun.

Do you exist? Are you on their system?

That page is for customers on legacy docsis 1.0 equipment, not for those that already have a docsis 3.0 device, your superhub 2 is compatible with up to 200meg

Shame the site doesn't actually say it's just for the 1.0 equipment.

The 2.0AC hubs are still unable to handle the newer speeds available (apparently).

I also find it odd that I'd be told to keep on trying the site again at a later date because of "problems" yet you instantly give me the reply. (Thanks though).

Re: Want to "keep up" ? Want a new hub? Shame you cant.

The SuperHub 2ac will handle all the speeds it's available with.

If you upgrade to a higher speed where a Hub 3.0 is required instead of the 2ac (currently VIVID 200 Gamer, VIVID 300 and HomeWorks + 300Mbps), then it'll be part of the order.
