Virgin account

I keep trying to log into my account but it says my password is wrong so go down the forgot password route and it says something went wrong

I've tried puttin in my ref number and area code which it recognises but then says something went wrong you can set up your account when broadband is installed?!

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having an issue setting up My Virgin Media. 

 

Can you let me know the following: 

What browser are you using?

After clicking on Register and entering your Surname, Account Number and Site ID, does anything else come up or is this where you face the error?

Hi kath
On trying to log in normally I get a message saying my username or password is wrong, then get this message when going through the forgotten username option, We are not able to set up your my Virgin Media account at the moment. Please try again later, or you can also set up your my Virgin Media account at the time of your broadband

I get this message when trying to register,

Thanks for coming back to Nat on this one and for confirming your details via PM Smiley Happy 

 

Checking things today it looks as though no account has ever been registered for use with My Virgin Media. 

 

You will need to get the account holder to register. I've checked today and this comes up with no errors so you should be able to go through this Smiley Happy

Hi ad44t, 

 

Thanks again for coming back to me via private message. 

 

The account holder details are the ones that will need to be entered. As I'm not getting the same issue as you, this means the account is working as it should be. 

 

Give the team a call on 150 / 0345 454 1111 and they can set the account up with your partner over the phone. There are some questions needed to be set up when registering so they wouldn't be able to do this with you.
