Virgin Tech uncontactable

Nick, the Virgin Technician in Derry, Area 26 just installed new Broadband, left a phone number to contact him if any problems, but I can't get an answer from him, speeds in the evening are really slow, can't even run a Fire Stick, if I can't get anyone it looks like I will be going back to BT. More expensive but far better speeds, expected Virgin to be a bit better to be honest.

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

 

Sorry to read you are unable to contact the engineer and that you are experiencing slow broadband speeds.

 

From checking your connection, there is an issue with high traffic during peak hours which is causing slow speeds.

Thanks for replying, engineer called and I think they are going to relocate the router to help with strength of signal, speeds seem a bit better now also, fingers crossed.
