I recently referred a friend to Virgin media. Got the email etc saying that it had gone through ok as did my friend, neither of us has got the £50 off our bills though. This was a good 4-5 months ago so assumed it would've been added to my account now.
I'm really sorry to hear that you haven't received your credit yet. Checking the account I'm not seeing any link on there to show you've referred anyone. As your friend hasn't received their credit either this suggested no link was ever made between the accounts.
