Question about adding Broadband to current TV package

Hi, i pay around £24 a month for Virgin Media TV and was wondering if you can add broadband to that and what the cost would be?

There is a Broadband only offer right now for £22 a month, would that be added on top of the Virgin Media TV i have or do Virgin give you deals when doing that? would be ideal if that happens rather than paying the 40 a month.

thanks

Re: Question about adding Broadband to current TV package

you can do anything you want - as to price its complicated or not easy - i would think the £22 deal you can see is for new users - thats likely to be for some part of the contract rising later

staff here cannot advise - you need to talk to retentions - stay away from chat or doing it online as all the offers will not be there - be aware any change will start a new contract

dial 150 or 0345 454 1111 and follow the prompts to - you are thinking of leaving us - dont worry about that they do much more - open 'till 8pm - 6pm on saturdays - closed sunday and the plus is its a UK call centre

Re: Question about adding Broadband to current TV package

The only real way is to ring & find out, as there are varying levels of discounts for taking more services. Be aware that Player TV (the old M pack) is only available if you also take a landline phone. Taking all three services attracts the maximum discount.

If you have a Virgin Mobile you can contact Customer Services for free on 150. If not the standard landline rate 0345 454 1111 number will get you to them (choose option 4 then 5 & talk to Retentions, not sales).

su1718.jpgCable customer since 1993. Services: FH TV, Sky Sports & Movies (2xV6), Talk Anytime Phone, VIVID 350, Virgin PAYG Mobile

Re: Question about adding Broadband to current TV package

dont be adverse to adding a landline phone - weekends only - you dont have to use it - in fact you dont have to plug a phone in and the way VM structure discounts you may find the overall price cheaper than BB and TV

Together with the obvious advantage that, should you have a problem or any type of issue, you can then call VM free.

Nice to be able to post again, after their mistake (removed by the Censorship team).
