Package changes

Hi

How come I have been charged new service under package changes and also under premium add ons?

Taking a look at your account, I'm not seeing any changes made since August. What changes are you seeing? 

 

We have recently changes our bundles names so you may be seeing a different name but no actual changes have been made in the last month Smiley Happy

See my bill dated 16 Sept.
I have been charged £18 for BT sports from 18 Aug-16 Sep and again under premium add ons I have been charged £30 for Asian mela and BT sports.

The Changes in August were to add BT Sports to the account. If this wasn't you then give the team a call on 150 / 0345 454 1111 for them to remove the channels.

Hi Shane512,

 

The charges on the first bill after making the changes would be pro rata. This means you would be charged from the date you made the change, to the billing date and then a month in advance to line up with the rest of your bill. 

 

The BT Sports channel charge is a monthly amount so it will continue to show on your bill until you decide to remove it.

Hi Shane, 

 

You will continue to be charged monthly for each month you have the channels. 

 

If you wish to remove the BT Sports channels then it will be reflected in the next bill with a credit for the time you've paid for but not actually had the channels. 

 

If you wish to continue receiving BT Sports then you will continue to be billed each month.

Do I get refund of the advance payment I made on the first bill of adding the service?

Hi Shane,

 

As you still have the BT Sports channels, anything you have paid so far is relevant for the time you've had the service for so therefore no refund is due.

 

If you were to stop the service today, then you would get a refund from today to the date you've paid for in advance.
