Basically had a Virgin salesperson come to my house agreed a contract of £29 pm for phone and broadband all installed ok then later same day as installation contract came which stated different to agreed amount. 2 phone calls to Virgin later 2nd one stating they couldn't do it for that and the amount would £31 bill emailed today for £42.83 surely I can cancel for breach of contract?????
You can canel without having to give any reason within the first 14 days of having your service activated.
I'd get on to them right away to cancel, you may find that someone in the retention's team can honour the price you initially agreed.
Never sign up to anything from a door-step salesman, always do it online, that way you have black and white evidence of any agreed pricing, door-step salesmen are the worst and should you have any problems you will never see / hear from them again.
