Notice given a week ago for leaving VM but no confirmation received

This is my first post here but unfortunately the reason is because I am leaving VM, after years of loyalty and disappointment.


I gave a 30 days notice on 13 Apr 2017 to the retention team (over the phone) and was confirmed that the service will be disconnected on 13 May 2017. After this date, I will no longer be billed by VM (I am off contract). I was also promised that an email confirming this would be sent to me soon. Received nothing! So I phoned up again on 15 Apr 2017 and again was told the same thing. This email has never arrived! No letter or any form of confirmation either, after two phone calls and a whole week of waiting.


I am getting a bit worried now because I don't know if my notice has ever been processed and will I be billed after 13 May 2017? Please advise!

Update: Just phoned up VM's Customer Services again and got a confirmation email this time. Solved!
