Install date

I upgraded my services today to tivo box and 200mbs bb I did this on Monday or I thought I had and was told on Monday that I would be able to do a self install and I would be notified by either email or telephone when my equipment would be delivered in have had no email notification or telephone call which promted me to call customer services today anyway I have now been informed that I will need a tech to come out and install the new equipment which is OK but the next available install date is the 9th of January which is a long way off as I was hoping that the new box would be on for Xmas of have never heard of a lead time being so long

Looks like the "Christmas Rush" has started. It may be that there are known issues with swapouts in your area, hence the engineer booking.
