I have been trying to find my area reference code. I don't have any bills and have checked every bit of correspondence i have from virgin but all juts has my account number on not my area ref? I'm in leyland, north west
The letter that came with my contract has a section near the top right of the page with "Account holder name" then "Account number" then "Area reference" then "Default TV PIN". I assumed that this was a standard template that everybody got as I have been getting it for a few years now.
Also "Area reference" is nothing to do with your geographical location, it is just a billing code.

The main one we use in the North West is 01. If this doesn't work for you then please get in touch via Webchat or via 150 or 0345 454 1111 where my colleagues can access your account to confirm this for you
