Cancelling my account

hi,

i am thinking about cancelling my package? How will I find out if I'm in a contract? 

Withiut calling, as I'm on hold for ages!!

Doesn't matter if you are in contract or not right now, due to the incoming price rises you can give your 30 days notice and leave penalty free.

Otherwise you can call up and ask when your contract started.

That doesn't show contract length though so if they don't know how long their contract is they are in the same boat.

It does show the minimum contract period length for each service in a panel on the right, upper part of the page.

...or logon to My Virginmedia, go to My Bills then My Contract.

I'm looking to leave too.  Virgin is getting very expensive and customer service has become very poor. 

I tried to upgrade my two old TIVO boxed to V6 using their upgrade offer.  They would only upgrade one (for £20), the other would cost me £50 and increase my monthly charges because they treat it like a new install??????

That was the last straw.  Sky broadband is not up to 76mb so I can finally jump ship :-)
