Cancel Additional Box

Currently in contract until Aug 17 and have now no requirement for the non recordable box that was in my son's room.  Would I have any termination fee for cancelling this box.  Any advice would be appreciated.

If your just cancelling the 2nd box but still keeping 1 or all other services then no think of it more as a downgrade.

Spoke with Customer Services who advised that a cancellation would put the account into another 12 month contract which I don't think is correct.

That doesn't sound correct, usually there is a 30 day notice period to remove a box, which i did last year, i actually removed two boxes, shouldn't have any effect on contract. Try retention's.

Depends which package your on. For instance the VIP bundle comes with two boxes as standard.

Removing one of the boxes means you can't be on the VIP bundle, so when you change to another bundle for your remaining services, you'll start a new minimum period.

There have been other bundles in the past where two boxes are part of the deal.

Saying that, the agent you speak to should make it clear why removing one of the boxes would trigger a new bundle deal.
