Area reference

Hi

I need the area reference for WA15 please.

Not on any paperwork, as I've not received any paperwork yet.

Re: Area reference

Hi davep123456,

Really sorry as we're not authorised to provide that information (Ofcom regulation I think). However, if you login to My Virgin Media the are reference or site i.d. will show on the top right of the page under 'My Account'.

Hope that helps,

Jen

Re: Area reference

Hi Thanks

The purpose of requesting this information is so that I can create an account to log onto My virgin media.

Currently I cannot because I have no information (letters from VM) as a new customer.

Re: Area reference

I can't be certain but I believe you are in area 20.

Please give this a go and reply back if it works.

Re: Area reference

Backtothefuture

It is 20 so thanks, I had to ring up in the end to find out.

I've been waiting a month for a "pull through job" so no active broadband at the moment.

I was told I cannot open a my virgin account until a service is live.

So far the service from vm has been awful.

Re: Area reference

That is very disappointing.  Hopefully it won't be too much longer for you.

I've only been connected a week and the speeds I am getting have been great.

The download limit for the modem is usually set +10%, so you can get up to 110meg. The upload will max out at 6meg though.
