Apologies to hear about your circumstances. Once payment has reached us we lift the bar but it can take a few hours to come back on.
With the phone line, you will still be able to make emergency calls if need be.
I'm hoping since posting, you're back up and running but if not let me know so I can take a look at what's going on.
Finally before I go, have you thought about setting up a Direct Debit? It's really easy to do and will stop this sort of thing happening again. Log in to My Virgin Media if you want to do this.
