1 month of waiting

Hello. I'm not sure if that's the right place to ask, but I'll do it anyway. I recently moved and I've signed an agreement with virgin media to provide me internet services, it was on 5th november. Clerk told me that it should work in a few days. Next day I received a text from him saying that disconnection of previous owner should be expected at 30th november, same info is on virgin media website. My question is: Can I change the internet provider and resign from the agreement, since virgin media can't keep the terms of the contract?

Re: 1 month of waiting

You should have a 14 day cooling off period from when you signed the contract so I would suggest contacting VM asap if you want out.

Re: 1 month of waiting

Welcome to the Community Kototronic,

I wish it could be under better circumstances. Smiley Sad

I am very sorry for the bother experienced with this.

As mentioned by Dave_cq, there is a cooling off period and I'd suggest giving the team a call to discuss this matter further, as they may be able to help and come to a suitable resolution for you.

You can call our team on 150 free from any Virgin landline or 0345 454 1111 on any other line.
Alternatively, you can chat to our online team via: [Contact us].

Many thanks,

Nat_J
